About the risk of internal bleeding due to cosmetic acupuncture

The face is rich in capillaries. When needles are pierced into the face during treatment, bleeding occurs when the needles hit the capillaries, and in rare cases, internal bleeding may occur. There are individual differences in the frequency and size of internal bleeding. When it does occur, it usually takes about 3 to 10 days for the internal bleeding to disappear. If bleeding occurs during the procedure, we will do our best to keep it to a minimum. If it bothers you, you can cover it up with concealer.

About the pain when acupuncture needles are inserted into the face

The disposable acupuncture needles used in the treatment are as thick as a hair and are very soft. There are individual differences in how pain is felt, but I hardly feel it. In general, thin acupuncture needles are less painful and thick acupuncture needles are more painful. Acupuncture needles for the face are selected to be thin, so pain is minimized. In the treatment, we will select the thickness and type of acupuncture according to the patient.

Depending on the customer's concerns and condition, we decide the location and number of acupuncture needles each time. Therefore, it is not decided how many hits, but it will be about 10 to 30 on average.

About makeup on the day of cosmetic acupuncture

We will disinfect your skin before the treatment, so if possible, please come to the clinic without makeup. The treatment can be performed even if makeup is applied, but the makeup may come off. If you want to touch up your makeup after the treatment, please bring your own makeup tools.

About bathing after treatment

Acupuncture improves blood flow, so I think it's better to take a shower instead of bathing in hot or long baths.
